Coastal Paradise

Wilson's Promontory and The Prom Coast attracts a huge number of visitors every year, yet the beaches never seem crowded.  In fact, they often seem more deserted than anything else.  South Gippsland has sometimes been called "drought proof".  The rolling hills of the area seem to stay green long after other areas have gone brown in summer.  This climate is ideal for the area's biggest industry, Dairy Farming, but also suits a number of other farming practices.    The area is attracting people who prefer a quieter life.  With great food and art!

There are definately four seasons in South Gipplsand.  Every season offers something wonderful. including winter, when the you will find the beaches and walking trails even quieter than usual.
